The 2010 Midlands Hiking Club AGM has come and gone with what I think must have been a record attendance. A couple of changes to the committee - Brian Henwood has taken over the reins as Chairman, with Mark Nellist as Vice Chairman, John Fourie - a keen and active hiker has joined the committee and subsequent to the AGM, Bernice Mastross has been co-opted on to assist with the local PRO work. I have personally been busy updating the TRAILS INDEX page on the website - we have almost 200 hike reports indexed on this page with most references showing the Hike name, date of hike, leader's name, number of hikers, and report writer's name - so if you are considering a hike in future have a look at the TRAILS INDEX to see if there has been a report on this hike. Another suggestion is to browse through the reports and if you see a hike you like that is not on our current fixture list email and ask if it can be considered.

I mentioned in my last spot that we were anticipating the arrival of a new Ridgeback puppy to our home, well as it turned out we were offered his brother as well so we now have Reggie and Blu tearing up the garden
