Julia, Peter, Peter, Penny and Annie were ably led by John though the dry grassland and up a step climb to the top of the koppie. Where there were 360 degree views to be enjoyed and huge rocks made comfortable seats for lunch. There were some signs of Spring as we saw a snake sunning its self on the firebreak and Penny spotted fire lilies and several other colourful plants emerging. Only John and Julia actually braved the swim and were rewarded with HUGE admiration from the onlookers.
Thanks to John for being so considerate of everyone’s ability and fitness. Definitely a hike to be repeated.
