Co-Ordinated by Jenny Rooks. Led By Max Ramseier. 2010.03.28 This circular hike starts at Luwada Farm in Drummond, the home of Max and his son Roger. The route skirts the base of Monteseel cliffs before climbing through a rock band to the top of the cliffs for a lunch break and a spectacular panoramic view of Fredville and the valley below. It then proceeds mainly along roads to Inchanga Railway Station to meet up with the steam train, and then starts the testing climb back up to Monteseel before dropping back to Luwada Farm in Drummond. A total distance of about 15km. I would like to compliment Max on his leadership and my appreciation for the effort and time he spent in planning the route, as well as his knowledge of the history of this area.
