Just to show that Midlands Hiking Club members do other outdoor activities besides hiking.
Six of us (Mary & Mark, Noel & Morris & Margaret & I) did a 4 week 4x4 trip (In three 4x4s) to Botswana in July - August this year. We did the Okavango Delta in detail last year so this year (besides other areas) we concentrated on Chobe, Savuti & Moremi & traversed some difficult terrain (to put it mildly).
I just attach some photographs of a few of the animals we came to close encounters with.
